Student or Just starting out
When you're a young person it can be hard to know
what career you will find really fulfilling. You may have questions
like "What are my special talents?", "What career am I suited
to?" and "What would I enjoy doing?".
There are times, though, when you have to make
choices that will affect your career journey in later life. If
you're still in school, you may have to choose which subjects
to take in Years 11 and 12. If you've finished school and are
looking at options for tertiary study, there are many courses
to choose from. Or if you've finished your education, the choice
is which jobs to apply for. These can be hard choices to make
if you're not sure of what you are suited to.
To make matters more confusing, there are so many
possible careers and you may not know much about them. Before
you choose your path, you may want answers to questions such as
"What's involved in this job?", "What are the prospects?", "What
qualifications will I need?" and "How do I go about getting into
that occupation?"
